the discard pile and which discarded cards he or she picks up. The worst is to
lose focus and give your opponent an easy win by giving them their needed cards.

tournament or regular play, always knock early as opposed to just waiting for
gin. This is imperative for two reasons. The first reason is that the longer you
wait the higher probability that an opponent will undercut you. The second

will give up that third card to form your own meld.
