Online Texas Holdem Poker Rules
There is a vast variety of Poker games. One of the most famous and widely played online poker games is Texas hold'em poker. This online texas holdem poker game rules, each player is dealt two cards facedown that are his or hers pocket cards. In Texas hold'em each player is playing for the "pot". The pot is all the money contributed by the players at the table thru a series of betting. A game is split up into a series of hands where each hand is determined by either one player having a better hand or all but one player folding and thereby awarding the remaining player the pot.
Each hand begins with every player being dealt their pocket cards. A round of betting ensues and the first three community cards are flipped. A community card is a card that is used by all the players to form their best possible hand in correlation with the players pocket cards. A total of five community cards are flipped in each hand. After the three community cards or the flop are flipped there is another round of betting and the fourth card or the turn card is flipped. Then finally the last community card or the river is drawn and the players put out their last bets. Because the majority of each player's hand is face-up on the table, Texas hold'em is very much a numbers and percentage game. The hand can end at any point if all but one of the players fold. A player can fold on any turn however forfeits their previous bets to the pot.
The guidelines for strength of hands as stated above apply as well in Texas hold'em. Texas hold'em is more dependent on strategy and understanding the game than it is luck. A major part of Texas hold'em is the understanding of what your chances are of winning the pot based on the community cards and your pocket cards. In Texas hold'em there exist a lot of bluffing and making your opponents unsure of your hand and theirs. It is a fun and easy game to learn, but takes a lifetime to master.
There are three different types of texas Hold'em all played by the same fundamental rules but different in the betting:

Limit hold'em- The amount allowed to bet is set.

Pot-limit hold'em- The maximum amount allowed to bet is based on how much is in the pot.

No-limit hold'em- Everything goes, a player can bet as much as they would like at any given time.
