Playing Omaha poker game rules is very similar to Texas Hold'em except for minor changes. According to the Omaha poker game rules each player receives four cards (instead of two) and has to create the best hand using only two of them in addition to three (out of five) community cards on the table.

Omaha Poker rules:

Every player receives four cards at the beginning of the game. The players are allowed to use two out of these four cards when forming a hand. Once all contestants have four cards, they take turns calling, folding or raising. The contestant sitting to the left of the big blind is the first to play.

Once everyone finishes betting, the chips are gathered together and three cards are placed face up on the table by the dealer. This is called "the flop". All contestants use these three cards when trying to form their best hand. These cards are referred to as the community cards because they are used by all of the players. At this point all players try to form the best hand using two of their own cards together with the community cards. Once these three cards are placed on the table everyone takes turns betting again.

Once everyone had a turn, the dealer places another card face up on the table. This is referred to as "the turn". Usually players double their bets in this round.

After all the players finished betting, another card is dealt on the table for everyone to use. This is called "the river". After the last card is placed on the table, there is a final round of betting in the game. Double bets are also generally used in this round.

Once all players have made their bets, the last player who made a bet or raise has to reveal his best hand. After the first player shows his hand, the remaining contestants take turns revealing their hands. This is referred to as "the showdown". Players have the option of not showing their hand if they lost and rather placing their cards face down on the table. Each player must only use two of their personal cards and choose three community cards to form a five card hand.

The Omaha poker hand ranking is the same as in Texas Hold'em, with the royal flush being the best. The player who created the best hand wins and receives the pot of money!
